Take on the Virtual Jurassic Coast & beyond!

4 Distance Options

Walk, Jog, or Run

Anywhere, Anytime in October

Share Your Journey on our Virtual Map

Frustratingly – our popular Jurassic Coast Challenge has been postponed twice in 2020 – so we thought we’d focus on this spectacular coastline for our October Virtual Challenge.  Hopefully this will bring back fond memories for those who have taken part in previous years, or if you’ve yet to visit the area – this should whet your appetite!

There are 4 distance options – ranging from our ‘standard’ 100 km Jurassic Coast Challenge from Poole Harbour to Bridport – up to a stretching 500 km for those who keep going along the South West Coastal Path to Lizard Point at the southerly tip of Britain in Cornwall.

Choose your challenge – take it on anywhere, anytime – walk, jog, or run –  log your progress on our ‘virtual’ map – and share your journey & story on line with others. Fundraise for a charity of your choice if that suits – and there’s a special ‘Jurassic+’ medal & neck buff up for grabs.

How it works...

Track your progress online

Once you’ve signed up to your chosen distance, you can ‘link’ up to our integrated TRAIL MAP with Strava (so your activities will automatically feed through to our online map) OR you can add your activities manually (so once an activity is logged you’ll progress along our virtual map). You have all October to complete your challenge.

Please note registrations are now closed.

How far will you pit yourself in October? All start from Poole Harbour – and we’ve different finish points along the Jurassic Coast and beyond, plotted on our Virtual Map – where you can track your progress and see how other are getting on.

Fundraise for Charity

The 2019 Jurassic Coast Challenge raised £1.2 million for 300+ UK Charities*. As the ‘physical’ event won’t be happening this year, we’re encouraging fundraising on this virtual version, to help our Charity Partners during this difficult time.

Our 2020 Virtual Challenges have so far raised more than £120,000 for UK Charities*, and we are hoping that our Virtual Jurassic Coast Challenge will raise a further £50,000 for the Ultra Challenge Series charity Partners.
