OR - scroll down to our enquiry form.

Teams can Walk, Jog, or Run 25 km, 50 km, 75 km, or  even 100 km (+ a few 10 km / 10 mile events) – and mixing it all up to suit colleagues with a range of fitness levels is fine!

You won’t find more accessible, flexible, sociable, and rewarding events anywhere!

For over 23 years Action Challenge has planned & operated events in the UK & Overseas, and have a 1st class record. ‘On Foot’ is much safer than ‘on wheels’ cycling; our events are fully risk assessed, and operated to the highest standards with teams of medical professionals & qualified mountain leaders involved with safety teams.

We deal with over 400 UK Charities, and Ultra Challenges are perfect events to get colleagues behind  fundraising initiatives for your Charity of the year.

We have a range of flexible payment options to make it all easy for you & for your chosen charity, and can advise on the best way ‘to bring it all alive’ with team JustGiving fundraising pages.

We provide tailored online registration forms and webpages to make colleague sign-up easy, and our dedicated ‘Challenge App’ communicates all the key information to them – enabling you to focus on recruiting participants and getting on with your job!

For teams of 20+ we can offer discounts, and have a range of payment options to make it easy for bulk payment via invoice, or to collect an agreed registration fee from colleagues, and to involve your chosen charity where applicable.

Whether it’s your own gazebo or marquee decorated with your branding at the start – or perhaps overnight camping for your colleagues – or group transport up to the event – we can tailor a bespoke hospitality package to turn your Ultra Challenge® into your own special company event!

Your Team will have a fantastic, inclusive experience on an Ultra Challenge®. For many it will also kick start a more active life-style; others will come back energised & motivated – and all will understand fellow colleagues a little bit better.!

Parallel to each ‘real’ Ultra Challenge®, for very large teams –  we can run a ‘Virtual Version’. This means the overall company ‘challenge event’ can be opened up to a much wider audience – for those who cant ‘make it on the day, or live too far away.

Colleagues can then take on their challenge anywhere – either over an extended period that suits them – or over the weekend of the ‘real’ thing – and join in online with their stories via social media.

A great value way to engage with, and motivate, the wider team!

Full Support

We’ll help everyone prepare for an Ultra Challenge® – with an App, online guides, forums, and optional training walks. On the day there’s the best support & hospitality you’ll find on any similar styled event – with  camping options, a noisy send off, a fully signed route, chip timing, marquee rest stops, fantastic food & drink, and expert safety, medical, and welfare teams. It’s a big finish line cheer, a medal, a glass of fizz, finishers t shirt, massage, BBQ, and an event to really remember!

There’s an App to download once signed up – with guides, optional extra bookings, route maps, kit lists, training videos & plans, and much more – along with and all the latest updates leading up to the event. Our Facebook forum is great place for advice and hints & tips.

Experienced Ultra Challengers help develop our training guides & videos on – foot care, nutrition, hydration, & building distance up for all levels of experience. We also run optional training walks.

There are bookable coach transfers, shuttle busses, & parking options before & after the challenge to make travel planning a bit easier.  Most Events offer camping packages at the ~50 km Saturday ‘half way’ for the 2 day ‘Daylight’ 100 km challenge option (or for half challenge finish / start), and on many events camping at the main start venue for Friday night camping before the event.

Pink arrows, ribbon, & glow-sticks at night, mark the route, and with Google maps in the App – you won’t get lost! Our chip timing has you scanned at rest stops, with your progress tracked, and can be  shared online for family & friends.

There are covered rest stops every ~12.5 km or so, with major stops each ~25 km – with seating, clean toilets, medical services, & shuttle busses. There’s a range of snacks & drinks at all stops, with full meals at major ones & at the finish – all included in your entry fee.

Rest stops have expert medical teams, including – doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists, & massage services. There’re emergency response teams, safety marshals & ‘Trek Masters’ on the route – with a 24 hr control room just a phone call away.

The finish line is a celebration, and quite emotional for many after a tough journey. You’ll get a big cheer, a medal, a glass of fizz, a visit to the massage tent or foot clinic, and a welcome BBQ. Memories will be long lasting – perhaps personal goals redefined – and a great sense of achievement.
